A favorite emerges for former 5-star WR Jordan Hudson

In this story:
The Auburn Tigers need help at wide receiver and the former 5-star wide receiver from TCU, Jordan Hudson, could do just that.
Based on a report from On3's Matt Zenitz, he may be staying in the state of Texas despite Auburn's strong push.
Zentiz wrote the following on Hudson:
"SMU has been the clear favorite ever since Hudson went into the portal April 18. Still, there are other teams naturally vying for the Class of 2022 top recruit who posted 14 catches and three touchdowns for TCU last season. Auburn is looking to get Hudson in for a visit this weekend."
Auburn getting him to agree to take an official visit can't hurt Hugh Freeze's chances of getting this potential playmaker. Reports say that Hudson is expected to take an official visit to AUburn this weekend.
Hudson was a 5-star wide receiver in the 2022 class and should make an impact regardless of what offense he joins for this upcoming season.
The Tigers have now had five players depart from the program within the last couple of weeks, including three backup linebackers:
Wide Receiver Tar'Varish Dawson
Defensive lineman Jeffrey M'ba
Linebacker Kameron Brown
Linebacker Desmond Tisdol
Linebacker Powell Gordon
Auburn has pulled in an impressive haul thus far during Hugh Freeze's first season on the Plains, currently sitting at No. 3 nationally in 247Sports' transfer portal class rankings.
