Auburn TE Tyler Fromm has announced his entrance into the transfer portal

The senior tight end enters the portal with one year of eligibility remaining.

Tyler Fromm, a reserve tight end for the Auburn Tigers, has announced that he will play his final season of college football for a different team.

Fromm was a 4-star recruit out of Warner-Robbins, Georgia in the class of 2019 and saw limited playing time throughout his career for the Tigers. Playing sparingly in the 2021, 2022, and the 2023 seasons.

Appearing mostly as a blocking tight end, Fromm did have some highlights. Catching a touchdown pass from Bo Nix against LSU in 2021, the game in which Auburn took down the Bayou Bengals in Tiger Stadium for the first time in 22 years, is easily the most memorable reception from Fromm's time on the Plains.

The production at tight end should not take much of a hit as Fromm only totaled three receptions in twelve games played. Luke Deal, Micah Riley-Ducker, and Rivaldo Fairweather are all expected to return at the position.

Fromm has become the sixth player to enter the portal for Auburn. Fromm joins fellow offensive player J'yaire Shorter and Malcolm Johnson Jr. as well as defensive linemen Enyce Sledge, Stephen Sings V, and Stephen Johnson.
