Auburn football transfer update: How former Tigers did in week three

Once again, we turn our attention to the transfer portal as we look back on week three performances from former Auburn Tigers.

Week three of the 2023 college football season is in the books and it is time to take a look at some of the best performances from former Auburn Tigers.

Tar'Varish Dawson

A new addition to the list this week, former Auburn wide receiver Tar'Varish Dawson had a breakout performance against Colorado's 43-35 win over Colorado State in two overtimes.

Dawson caught five passes for 60 yards to help Deion "Coach Prime" Sanders get past their in-state rival. When star wide receiver Travis Hunter went down with an injury, Dawson stepped up.

Bo Nix

Bo Nix had another solid performance in week three.

He helped lead Oregon to a 55-10 victory over Hawai'i by going 21-of-27 for 247 yards and three touchdowns.

Nix has been putting up solid numbers all season throughout his final collegiate campaign.

TJ Finley

Finley put together another solid performance in Texas State's 77-34 win over Jackson State.

Finley went 17-of-21 for 251 yards and three touchdowns. He added two more touchdowns on the ground.

Zach Calzada

Zach Calzada has found his rhythm at the FCS level.

In Incarnate Word's 27-20 win over Abilene Christian, Calzada had a day.

He went 23-of-36 for 373 yards and one touchdown. He was a threat on the ground as well, picking up 66 yards and two touchdowns off of seven carries.

Before long former Auburn Tigers will have a chance to show what they can do in the fourth week of the college football season.
