Even AI knows Bryan Harsin didn't care about recruiting at Auburn

ChatGPT has composed a poem about Bryan Harsin's failures at Auburn for us to enjoy.

Bryan Harsin failed in several ways during his time as head coach at Auburn.

Recruiting was one of the more highlighted areas of disappointment for Tiger fans as they watched their two recruiting classes underneath Harsin become two of the most underwhelming the program has ever seen.

On top of all of this, stories following his firing confirm that Harsin was never really interested in doing recruiting himself. Odd, considering the "Crootin Finger" meme that spawned from his tenure.

In turn, the lack of success spread onto the field as the Tigers and their staff were thrashed by SEC competition week in and week out - and a 41-27 loss to Arkansas at the conclusion of October was the end of the line.

It was never a good marriage, Bryan Harsin and Auburn.

Locked On Auburn is a daily Auburn Tigers podcast hosted by Zac Blackerby - it's one of the biggest college podcasts out there and easily the biggest in the Auburn mediasphere.

The LOA podcast has a Discord sever for fans of the show and the Tigers to come and discuss all things Auburn. With over 1,800 members as of June 2023 it has become a great online hub for Tiger fans.

A lot of fun conversations and great memes are spawned in the Discord, and one user decided to create a poem to share.

Discord user The Ghost of Jarquez asked ChatGPT to write a poem about Bryan Harsin's failures as Auburn's head coach. The following is what the AI machine spat out.

Enjoy.

In Auburn's realm, where dreams once soared,

Bryan Harsin took up the mighty sword.

With hopes and cheers, the faithful cried,

But alas, his tenure took a different stride.

Recruitment's art, a vital chore,

Yet Harsin's struggles left hearts sore.

His prowess faltered, unable to find,

The talents needed to leave rivals behind.

Amidst the battles, losses piled high,

His strategies questioned, prospects passed by.

Fans yearned for glory, a team reborn,

But Harsin's reign left dreams torn.

Auburn Tigers head coach Bryan Harsin reacts after the game during the Iron Bowl at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Ala., on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021. Alabama Crimson Tide defeated Auburn Tigers 24-22 in 4OT.

Though his tenure faltered, it's worth to note,

Coaches face challenges, as legends wrote.

For Auburn's future, a new path lies,

With hopes that success shall soon arise.
