The Tigers are just outside of the top 25 to begin the season.

The Auburn Tigers are just outside of the college basketball preseason AP top 25 to begin the 2023-24 season.

Auburn received 27 points worth of votes for the preseason poll, equivalent to a No. 32 ranking overall.

Five SEC teams are ahead of Auburn in the poll, with Alabama appearing at No. 24, Kentucky at No. 16, Texas A&M at No. 15 and Tennessee at No. 9. Mississippi State, Missouri and Florida received 20, six and two votes from voters.
