Former Auburn DL signs deal with San Francisco 49ers

Former Auburn defensive lineman Marlon Davidson has signed with the San Francisco 49ers on a one-year deal, per Adam Schefter.
Davidson, who hasn't played in the NFL since 2021 after undergoing knee surgery, was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He appeared in 19 games over the course of two seasons with Atlanta, recording 29 tackles, one TFL, one sack, and one interception of Tom Brady that he returned for a touchdown.
Davidson was signed to a one-year deal with the 49ers alongside QB Brandon Allen and TE Troy Fumagalli.
