Jordan-Hare Stadium ranked as one of nation's 10 most difficult places to play in 2023

What happened last season doesn't matter.

Does it still linger in the minds of Auburn fans? Sure, but it won't deter them from getting excited for what Hugh Freeze & Co. have in store in the fall.

According to Auburn's social media team, the Tigers are less than 100 tickets away from breaking the all-time season ticket sales record. There is genuine excitement on the Plains once again.

It will translate to a lot of rowdy games in Jordan-Hare this year.

According to Brad Crawford of 247Sports, who recently ranked the top 10 toughest places to play in 2023 Jordan-Hare Stadium will be the seventh most difficult place to play this season. Here's what Crawford had to say about it:

"How loud will Jordan-Hare get for matchups with Georgia and Alabama? No team in the country has two home battles quite as challenging as that. If the Tigers are a threat under first-year coach Hugh Freeze, those environments have a chance to be scary for the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide. If you've ever experienced field level on the Plains, you'll notice the visiting locker room is one of the smallest in college football. This makes for an uneasy setting for the opposition. Remember "Kick Six" against Alabama? That was Jordan-Hare pandemonium at its finest hour."

Auburn kicks off the 2023 season at home against UMass. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.
