Three Auburn freshmen have a lot to prove during spring practice

In this story:
Coach Hugh Freeze brought in a very talented 2024 recruiting class that has the Auburn Tigers in a very good spot heading into the upcoming season and for the future.
The question heading into spring practice is how many of these guys will play a role for the Tigers this season.
Let's take a look at three incoming freshmen with the most to prove during spring practice.
Cam Coleman, WR
Cam Coleman walks onto campus in a position of need for the Auburn Tigers, as they got next to no production from the receiver room a season ago. Wide receiver is a position that players can come in and succeed as freshmen, so Coleman has a legit shot to start in 2024. He is one of the most talented receivers Auburn has ever brought in, so spring ball will give Coleman a shot to prove that he can get on the field with SEC players this season.
Malik Blocton, DL
Now, getting on the field as a true freshman in the trenches is a much tougher ask, and that is what Malik Blocton will be working toward. It sounds like the coaching staff and players are excited about what Blocton brings to the table, but spring practice will give him the opportunity to show this staff that despite being a young guy in the trenches, they can't keep him off the field. Blocton has a great Auburn career ahead, even if he doesn't get on the field much this season.
Demarcus Riddick, LB
Demarcus Riddick is another player that we have heard great things about from what he did practicing with the team ahead of the bowl game. Ranked as a top 100 player in the class, Riddick truly could start with Eugene Asante this season. If he keeps turning heads like he did during the bowl practices, you can't keep him off the field. I see a world where Riddick starts Auburn's season opener this year as a true freshman.
Host of Locked On Auburn Zac Blackerby had this to say about Riddick, "Incoming freshman Demarcus Riddick turned heads early. Apparently, he is playing very fast very early into his time on the Plains. The source described his ability to get from Point A to Point B quickly as one of the best on the team already."
Riddick and these other two talented freshmen will all play a role for the Auburn Tigers as the staff looks to go young in year two under Coach Freeze.
