Former Auburn Tiger in the NBA goes off in final game of the season

Former Auburn Tiger finishes the NBA season with a bang.

The NBA regular season came to an end on Sunday, meaning the former Tigers, whose teams didn't make the playoffs, are done for the year.

One of those former Auburn Tigers is JT Thor, who is currently playing with the Charlotte Hornets.

In his final game of the season, Thor had his best game of the year, scoring 20 points on 8-11 shooting and 3-6 from deep. Thor also pulled down nine boards, dished four assists, blocked three shots, and had two steals. The former Tiger filled the stat sheet against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Hornet's final game of the season.

The Hornets got the win over the Cavaliers 120-110 to finish the season 21-61. Hopefully, Thor will be able to stick around the NBA longer, thanks to his performance in this game. Watching him play, he clearly deserves to be a role player in the NBA.

Another former Tiger was on the floor in this game as Isaac Okoro got the start for the Cavs and had 11 points on 3-6 shooting. He was 3-4 from deep while also pulling down three boards and securing six assists.

Okoro and the Cavaliers have secured a spot in the NBA Playoffs as the four seed in the Eastern Conference.

When it comes to Thor, the Hornets are a young team with a lot of solid pieces, so his future will be very interesting.

On the season, Thor averaged 3.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 0.5 assists per game while shooting 43.7% from the field and 34.6% from three.
