While the TCU Horned Frogs football team prepares for next week's national championship game, the men's basketball squad is in Waco to take on the No. 19 Baylor Bears.

Both these old rivals are in the Top 20, the first such matchup the teams have had in this, their 191st contest. The Bears laid an egg in the second half of the Big 12 opener in Ames Saturday, losing to Iowa State and dropping seven spots in the rankings as a result.

TCU is coming off a gut-check 67-61 victory over Texas Tech Saturday and their lone loss of the season came to unranked Northwestern State in November.

Unlike football, the Bears own this rivalry. Since the Frogs joined the Big 12 before the 2012-13 season, the Bears are 16-4 against TCU and 8-1 at home. In the Ferrell Center, they have won each of those eight games by double digits.

The Bears are riding the hot hand of freshman guard Keyonte George, who was named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week last week when he averaged 18.5 points in the two games. For the season, George is putting up over 15 points and nearly four assists a game.

The biggest reason for TCU's success this season is that they, too, have one of the top guards in the conference in Mike Miles. The junior guard is averaging over 18 points a game, second in the conference behind Kansas's Jalen Wilson.

UNDER-4: Baylor leads 79-76. Ojiunwuna scores out of the timeout with a baseline dunk. Baugh blows by two defenders for a left-handed layup to cut the lead back to four. Lampkin's put-back layup puts the deficit at two. Cryer hits an elbow jumper to give Baylor the lead again. Baugh's transition layup puts TCU up 76-74. Flagler hits a spot up three to put Baylor up 79-76.

George picks Miles' pocket at center court and goes in for a transition layup to put Baylor up five. Next possession, Lampkin gets fouled while making a layup and hits the free throw to cut the lead to two.
