WATCH: Baylor Bears Roll in Style in Canada

Team USA treated to Friday Ferrari experience in Toronto

Baylor men’s basketball coach Scott Drew and Team USA were treated with an opportunity to roll in Ferrari fashion through Toronto on Friday, July 8.

“This is how the Baylor [Bears] roll in Canada!!! Sic ’em,” Drew tweeted on Friday.

A “bucket list experience,” no doubt.

The Bears are currently in Canada representing the United States in the GLOBL JAM, an inaugural Under-23 tournament featuring the game’s rising stars across the world.

Team USA is slated to face top-seeded Canada in the semifinals on Saturday, July 9, at 8 p.m. Central Time on ESPN-Plus.

Baylor started the tournament with an 11-point loss to Italy followed by back-to-back two-point heartbreakers to Canada and Brazil.

However, the United States still has a shot at redemption if the Bears can find a way to win on Saturday and advance to Sunday’s Gold Medal Game.

Incoming freshman Keyonte George has been the scoring leader in all three contests thus far for the Bears, netting 32 points against Italy, 19 points against Canada and 14 points against Brazil.

Coach Drew, meanwhile, is entering his 20th season at the helm of the Baylor men's basketball team; he guided the Bears to a national championship in 2021.

Baylor tips off the 2022-23 regular season in November.
