The Baylor Bears won the Stillwater Regional to advance to the NCAA women’s golf championships in two weeks.

The Bears will join the rest of the field at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, from May 20-25 for the NCAA Championships. This will be the Bears’ second straight trip to the NCAA Championships.

Baylor coach Jay Goble called it “the biggest win in our team's history.”

The Bears had a brilliant three days at Stillwater, starting with their final score of 865, which was the program’s second-best 54-hold score ever. Baylor’s final round of 288 tied for their ninth-best single round in program history and the Bears won by a 14-shot margin, their biggest in a NCAA postseason event.

Arizona State finished second at 15-over-par 879. Oklahoma State, which hosted the regional, tied for third with Auburn, with both finishing with a 17-over-par 881.

The Bears weren’t the only Big 12 team to advance to the NCAA Championships. Texas and TCU finished in the Top 4 in the Albuquerque Regional, while two Iowa State players advanced as individuals at the Stanford Regional.

The Bears had three players finish in a tie for second individually, three shots behind Oklahoma State’s Maddison Hinson-Tolchard, who wrapped up the individual crown with a 212.

Gurleen Kaur (75-67-72—214), Britta Snyder (69-74-71—214) and Rosie Belsham (72-71-71—214) all finished in that tie. Snyder’s finish was a career-best and Kaur’s finish was a career-best in NCAA play.

Addie Baggarly (76-73-74—223) and Hannah Karg (80-75-77—232) rounded out Baylor’s play in the regional.
