Boston College (2-9) will try for their first ACC win of the season as they take on Miami (5-5) on Tuesday afternoon. The Eagles currently are struggling, losing seven out of their last eight game including a loss to UVA on Saturday. Miami on the other hand defeated NC State for their first ACC win.

Series History: This is the 52nd meeting between Boston College and Miami, with BC leading the series 26-25. In ACC play, Miami leads the series 16-9. Last season, BC lost, 85-58, at Miami on Feb. 12, 2020.

Injuries: As of now the only injuries that have been announced are Fred Scott (knee), Luka Kraljevic (knee), and Makai Ashton Langford.

Player to Watch: Isaiah Wong G

One of the most dynamic scorers in the ACC, Wong averages 17.5 points per game, and six rebounds. Last year against the Eagles, Wong was lethal, scoring 21 points. If Boston College is playing with Wynston Tabbs getting limited minutes again, they could be in trouble with Rich Kelly most likely guarding Wong.

Three Keys to the Game:

1. Limit Turnovers: Miami has a strong defense that can make weaker offenses fall apart, allowing an average 64.5 points per game. Boston College is one of the worst teams in the ACC in turnovers, if they give up the ball consistently, they are going to be in trouble.

2. Get Tabbs/Heath Going: In their last game, Tabbs and Heath shot a combination of 2/19. Boston College is not going to win many games when their star guards are shooting like they did against UVA. Not sure what Tabbs's health looks like right now but he doesn't seem the same.

3. Prevent Easy Buckets: Boston College is statistically one of the worst teams in the country, giving up 81 points per game. The Eagles give up far too many high percentage shots either with wide open three pointers or points in the paint. Feel like a broken record, but BC has to improve here.

AJ's Fearless Prediction: On paper if you were just to look at this game, Boston College may have a chance against Miami. But dig deeper. The Hurricanes are a team that have barely played a game with a full roster. The finally did that this week, and what happened? They beat NC State. Miami has a good coach, a good roster, and will continue to turn their season around in Chestnut Hill. Miami 78 Boston College 68
