BYU in the Polls
On Monday, the new AP poll for college basketball was released and BYU dropped two spots from no. 18 to no. 20 after splitting last week's games 1-1.
The Big 12 is the best basketball conference in the country by a wide margin. BYU is one of eight Big 12 teams in the AP top 25. They are joined by Kansas (3), Houston (5), Baylor (9), Oklahoma (15), TCU (19), Iowa State (24), and Texas Tech (25).
BYU is looking for its second road conference win as a member of the Big 12. The first four games in conference play have been a sneak peek of how challenging the conference schedule will be. BYU's offense has not been as free-flowing, the shots have more contested, and offensive rebounds have been harder to come by. In the game against Iowa State, BYU looked more like the non-conference version of themselves.
