BYU Will Move Wide Receiver Keanu Hill to Tight End

BYU veteran wide receiver Keanu Hill will move from wide receiver to tight end next season, offensive coordinator Aaron Roderick announced on Wednesday. Hill, who has been a wide receiver since 2019, has 73 career catches for over 1,200 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Listed at 6'4 and 215 pounds, Hill has a hard time keeping down his weight according to Roderick. Instead of fighting his body's natural weight, BYU's offensive staff told him to allow his weight to go up and play a new position. Hill, who Roderick calls one of the best blockers on the whole team, could add a new wrinkle as a receiving tight end.

Roderick also announced that offensive lineman Brayden Keim will return in 2024. Keim was honored on Senior Day last November and his return had not been announced. Keim started games at both right tackle and left tackle in 2023 and it's safe to pencil him in as a starter in 2024.
