Where is Air Noland Headed?

Air Noland, the state championship quarterback from Langston Hughes in Georgia, will make his decision Saturday.

Air Noland, the No. 7 quarterback in the class of 2024, is set to make his decision on Saturday night. At 8:45 p.m. on 247Sports' YouTube channel, Noland will decide between 7 schools: Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Arkansas, Miami, Texas A&M, and Oregon. Multiple sources have indicated that there's a clear favorite.

Multiple sources have confirmed to All Clemson that Ohio State is the team to beat for Noland. On3 has the chance of the Buckeyes landing Noland at 90.6%.  Ryan Day and his staff hosted Noland on March 31st. Noland confirmed receiving an offer from the Buckeyes on April 1st. Ohio State has had success with former Georgia quarterbacks before, playing in the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship with Justin Fields (Harrison, Georgia).

It looks like this will be another miss for Clemson, as the Tigers have lost out on their other three quarterback targets: Jadyn Davis, Walker White, and DJ Lagway. Clemson currently ranks 14th in 247's Composite Rankings.

Langston Hughes has become a power in Georgia in the last few years, and players like Air Noland are a big reason why. Noland has lost just twice in his 30 games as a starter: As a sophomore in his first game as a starting quarterback and in the AAAAAA state championship game that same season. In 2022, Noland led the Panthers to a perfect 15-0 record and a state title. The 6-foot-3 Noland has played his recruitment close to the chest, and Clemson came in late, but the Tigers have made enough of an impression to land in his top 7
