Tracey Edmonds shares pre-op photo of Deion Sanders

The Colorado Buffaloes head coach is undergoing a procedure on Friday for blood clots

Tracey Edmonds shared an uplifting photo with herself, Colorado athletic trainer, Lauren Askevold, and Deion Sanders prior to his surgery on Friday. It's the first procedure for Coach Prime while at CU.   

In the photo’s caption, Edmonds, who has been in a relationship with Sanders since 2012, shared, “We declare…God has #CoachPrime @DeionSanders covered today. Thank you so much Fam for all your prayers!”

Prior to surgery, Deion Sanders shared a message of hope to his followers.

Sanders had an initial consultation with three doctors about his amputated left foot. The concern was issues due to lack of blood flow. The Pat McAfee Show first reported on Thursday that Prime would need emergency surgery to address blood clots in both legs.
