Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes aren't a conventional team. We all knew that going into the season and they came together while facing a lot of criticism this week.

Sanders' goal this week was to teach his team about overcoming adversity. It was the theme for a majority of practices and even leading up to the final preparation. He brought in someone who has faced his fair share of naysayers and critics.

DaBaby might be the unlikely motivator, but he brought the house while addressing the Colorado players before Saturday's matchup with USC. The Grammy-nominated rapper explained how a loss can set you on a better path.

"Just keep going. A little adversity is healthy, it's better to run into it earlier than later."

It was a helpful piece of advice for the Buffaloes to hear, especially knowing DaBaby is able to use his experiences to uplift others. The Charlotte native was involved in a shooting at a Walmart. He acted in self-defense and overcame serious charges in the matter while maintaining his career.

Colorado faces No. 8 USC at Noon on Saturday.
