Three Colorado Buffaloes to watch against Utah

These Colorado players might just have a little more to prove today

With Xavier Weaver and Travis Hunter possibly limited, expect a large spotlight to be on Jimmy Horn Jr. The USF transfer has 56 catches for 549 yards and six touchdowns this season. He has also hinted at declaring for the NFL draft so, this game presents an excellent opportunity to further showcase his skills.

The next player on our list this week is Ryan Staub. Ever since Shedeur Sanders left in the first half of the Washington State game with an injury, his status has been to be determined. If Sanders can’t play, the Buffaloes will probably tap Ryan Staub for the job. Staub only has 59 passing yards all season in limited relief opportunities. That may change today. He has an opportunity to help his playing time aspirations in future seasons whether they be in Boulder or elsewhere.

So this is it, the final collegiate game for Linebacker Jordan Domineck. After successful stints at Georgia Tech and Arkansas, the graduate transfer has been an inspiration for Colorado on and off the field. He’s been a leader in the locker room and a powerhouse on defense. His next game should be in the NFL. While this contest may not mean a whole lot to either team, it absolutely matters to Jordan.
