Colorado's Juwan Mitchell front and center at practice

In this story:
Colorado Buffaloes linebacker Juwan Mitchell was absent during Friday's loss vs. Stanford, which became a topic of conversation in Deion Sanders' post game press conference. CU beat reporter Brian Howell asked him about Mitchell's status and Coach Prime responded by saying, “Ask him what happened.”
Mitchell was back at practice on Monday via a video by Well Off Media. Nothing to panic about. He was out participating in drills with the team, despite speculation he was gone.
The Arizona State transfer has been a contributor for the Buffs defense this season with 31 total tackles. Colorado is his fourth Power Five stop after spending time at Texas, Tennessee and ASU.
Colorado is 4-3 on the season following their double overtime loss to Stanford. They blew a 29-0 halftime lead, which is the worst loss in school history. Coach Prime's team is now 1-3 against Pac-12 opponents. They have three tough road tests with UCLA, Washington State, and Utah. All of them will likely be ranked when they face the Buffs.
Mitchell will enjoy the bye week and hopes to be back to face UCLA at the Rose Bowl on Oct. 28.
