Colorado suiting up with "Silver Rush" uniforms against No. 8 USC

In this story:
The Colorado Buffaloes will be going with a one-of-a-kind jersy combination for Saturday's game against No. 8 Southern California.
A set with gray jerseys and pants known as the "Silver Rush." The look is a throwback to Colorado's original nickname of "Silver and Gold." It's the first time with this type of jersey with the white incorporated within the design. It's still nothing like the iconic "Stormtrooper" all-white set used at TCU. Colorado has only gone with a semi-traditional combination once for the Rocky Mountain Showdown with CSU.
It's a great look at home against a ranked opponent and all the stars on the sidelines. The only thing better would be a "24 karat" all-gold uniform set with gold helmets.
The Buffs are expected to come out swinging after taking a brutal 42-6 loss against No. 10 Oregon last week. The two teams aren't likely to face each other in conference play again. No better way to go out except a first-ever win over No. 8 USC (Noon ET, FOX).
