Travis Hunter turned a lot of heads on Saturday by playing both ways in Colorado's 45-42 upset of 17th-ranked TCU. The former five-star recruit earned Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week honors, per an announcement on Tuesday afternoon.

Hunter made college football history as the first player in twenty years to have a touchdown catch and interception in the same game. He finished with over 100 snaps played and was one of four CU receivers with 100+ yards.

Only the second time since at least 1996 that a Pac-12 school had four players with 100+ receiving yards in the same game (USC vs UCLA, 2019). Hunter is the first Colorado DB to earn conference honors since Tedric Thompson won it twice in 2016

Colorado welcomes Nebraska into Boulder for Folsom Field's 100th home opener on Saturday, Sept. 9. It's the third meeting between the former Big Eight rivals since 2018. Colorado is currently riding a two-game winning streak in the series post-Big 12 days.
