Five-star offensive lineman Jordan Seaton confirms he'll be signing with Deion Sanders and Colorado

IMG Academy standout heads to Boulder as a foundational piece in Coach Prime’s 2024 class

After a ton of speculation about where Jordan Seaton would end up, the five-star offensive lineman will sign with Colorado. The blue chip recruit from IMG Academy (Florida) is the top ranked for his position in the country. He visited several major programs and received a lot of attention over the past three weeks, but decided to stay in Boulder with Deion Sanders.

This Instagram video, with both Jordan and Shedeur Sanders, cleared up any doubt on the matter.

Seaton said previously that the culture at Colorado is what hit home with him. Sanders having a predominantly black coaching staff was a factor towards his decision. It's all about the "Prime Effect" and building towards the future.

Many rumors circulated about Seaton shopping around for a better opportunity. However, he was adamant about his future, saying, "I'm a Buff," while he was live with On3's Hayes Fawcett on Tuesday night.

The standout recruit hit the end of the early Signing Day period and made it official on Friday. Seaton is the highest-rated offensive lineman ever to commit to Colorado and is currently the No. 25 overall recruit in Rivals 2024 class.

Seaton brings an edge to a Buffs offensive line that will be restructured from last year. Colorado gave up 56 sacks with Shedeur Sanders suffering a fractured back as a result. He'll be an anchor to protect Sanders, who will likely be a Heisman favorite going into 2024.

"You've got to believe in Coach Prime," Seaton told FOX Sports' Undisputed. "Having the opportunity to play with somebody who's done it at the highest level, a [Hall of Fame] level. Very few can say they did that. I've got two Heisman candidates, Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, they're amazing. You know how they go. If you ain't rocking with us and you claim you're a dawg, why are you not coming to Colorado?"

With Seaton coming to Colorado, he gives Coach Prime another Florida player on the books for next year. It will also bring attention to others from the Sunshine State for future classes in Boulder.
