Good evening one and all. Tonight Colorado tries to turn its season around by beating USC in a big Friday night game that has huge implications for Colorado's chances to make a bowl game.

The good news is that USC (4-3) is not as good as it has been most of the other 13 times it has played Colorado. The Trojans are 13-0 all-time against the Buffaloes, the largest margin of victory being 44 points in 2012, Colorado's first season in the Pac-12.

I don't expect a score anything like that tonight, but Colorado has been blown out in its last two games and has had three players leave the program in the last week, so you never know.

7:02 p.m.: How many “Michael Pittmans” are there going to be in sports?

7:03 p.m.: It took three actual minutes for CU to get down 7-0.

7:13 p.m.: Is Mangham unlucky? Seems like there’s never a hole there when he gets it.

7:27 p.m.: Montez or Michael Vick?

7:33 p.m.: Colorado is trying to run the wildcat with Shenault and literally cannot even snap the ball to him.

7:38 p.m.: Touchdown Buffaloes, 10-7.

7:43 p.m.: Three and out? WHAT IS HAPPENING

7:57 p.m.: KJ Trujillo is having a breakout game.

8:05 p.m.: Goldang, it’s amazing  how good CU looks when the defense gets a stop. CU 17-7.

8:16 p.m.: Slovis has looked shaky but he leads a TD drive to make it 17-14, Colorado. Nice drive.

8:21 p.m.: I saw a CU player break a tackle once, I swear.

8:24 p.m.: Every time CU tried something cool on offense, the line screws it up. These guys cannot seem to even snap the ball on time. Literally the most basic thing you can do after putting in your uniform.

8:51 p.m.: Laviska Shenault finally makes a big play this year! CU leads, 24-14.

8:59 p.m.: Shenault is having a huge game. Seven catches for 140 yards and a TD.

9:03 p.m.: Laviska hurt?

9:04 p.m.: Laviska not hurt.

9:05 p.m.: My land! The Buffaloes can’t even line up right. This team screws up more basic stuff.

9:08 p.m.: Montez is a runner tonight, out of nowhere. CU leads 31-21.

9:21 p.m.: This is a “good game” but only because both teams are not good.

9:26 p.m.: Montez is hurt. Heading to the locker room.

9:33 p.m.: Montez still out, Blake Stenstrom, a redshirt freshman, is in at QB.

9:37 p.m.: Like Willis Reed, Montez is going to tough it out.

9:38 p.m.: Mel Tucker acts mad about penalty.

9:45 p.m.: USC hits a long TD to make it 31-28, CU.

10:04 p.m.: Is it me or is this a bad game?

10:08 p.m.: Kedon Slovis is making CU look like the 85 Bears.

10:16 p.m.: You’ll never believe this, but the CU defense gave up a passing TD. 34-31, USC with 2:12 to play. PAT makes it 35-31.
