Deion Sanders knows Travis Hunter is a one-of-a-kind talent. The Colorado Buffaloes two-way star might be facing a bye week, but his mindset hasn't changed one bit since joining Coach Prime at Jackson State.

Hunter still sends early morning "Let GO" text messages to Sanders and has so much of a fighter's edge that he wanted to come back early for a lacerated liver. That's HIM and every part of his mentality. So, it comes as no surprise that he views the off week differently from other Buffs players.

Hunter was asked what he plans to do over the bye week, and his response was typical. "Go to work," Hunter said via Well Off Media. "I had my break three weeks ago. I don't need the rest, and I don't need the break."

Don't be shocked if you see Hunter inside the Champion Center going into full-length workouts over the next week. He doesn't do well with having downtime and is fully invested in the game of football. It's the reason why Sanders labels him as a 'Dawg' and trusts HIM when he needs a playmaker. Hunter has shown every part of it and again in the fourth quarter of the heartbreaking loss to Stanford.

Colorado takes a week off before heading to Pasadena to face 25th-ranked UCLA on Oct. 28. It's the Buffs only trip to the State of California this year, and likely for the foreseeable future with CU headed to the Big 12.
