Deion Sanders and Colorado got a late addition to the 2024 class. Kyeran "K9" Garcia made it official and will be Boulder bound. The three-star linebacker from Fort Myers, Fla. had 22 offers on the table, including two from Ivy league schools.

At 6-foot and 215 pounds, Garcia made the most of his time at Dunbar HS as a two-sport athlete with a track and field background. He's racked up a good amount of production on the gridiron as well. A total of 282 tackles (34 for loss), 10 sacks, 2 PDUs and an interception over the course of the past two years. A top 250 prospect from Florida and the No. 180 linebacker nationally.

With Garcia coming to CU, he fulfills Coach Prime's promise of recruiting a player from southwest Florida in every class. Sanders, a North Fort Myers High School graduate, said he would keep this tradition alive in September of last year.

Colorado now has 31 players in the combined class for 2024. A majority coming from the transfer portal with the 21st ranked class, according to 247Sports. One of the best recruiting classes for the Buffs in recent years. Garcia is the sixth player with ties to the Sunshine State during this cycle, including five-star top offensive lineman Jordan Seaton from IMG Academy.
