Grayson Allen, still leading the NBA with his 51.6 shooting percentage beyond the arc as a full-time starter in his first season with the Phoenix Suns, recently talked all things Duke basketball with his team's social media account.

The topics he touched on in the three-minute video posted below included his memories, of course, from his four years as a Blue Devil. He expressed appreciation for how now-retired Duke legend Mike Krzyzewski would often be tougher on his squads following feel-good wins than after they had just lost.

And the 28-year-old Grayson Allen, who came off the board No. 21 overall at the 2018 NBA Draft and is now a career double-digit scorer in the league, noted that gaps in his schedule this season have often coincided with Duke basketball games. So, he's had the opportunity to study the 2023-24 Blue Devils a bit more often than previous years.

Grayson Allen sounds notably optimistic about Duke's chances to excel in March under second-year head coach Jon Scheyer. However, bear in mind that the following interview occurred before the now-No. 9 Blue Devils (16-5, 7-3 ACC) fell on the road, 93-84, to their archrival in No. 3 UNC (18-4, 10-1 ACC) on Saturday night:

"They definitely have the talent, the ability to get there," Allen opined. "I've probably caught more Duke games than I have in the past couple of years, just because of the timing and everything. They're a fun team to watch. They've got a nice mix of talent, a young team, and also with some older guys returning and some good leadership.

"So, they have all the pieces to make it there."
