Duke basketball has won its past six contests in New York City's Madison Square Garden. And the 21st-ranked Blue Devils (7-3, 0-1 ACC) look to extend that streak when they battle No. 10 Baylor (9-1, 0-0 Big 12) in the hoops mecca at 7 p.m. ET Wednesday (ESPN).

The Blue Devils lead the all-time series, 1-0. That win came in the 2010 Elite Eight on the way to Duke's fourth of now-five national championships. Then-senior guard Jon Scheyer, now in his second season as the head coach in Durham, scored 20 points in that outing.

For the third straight game, Duke is without the services of sophomore guard Tyrese Proctor, who sprained his ankle in the first half of the Blue Devils' most recent loss: 72-68 at Georgia Tech in the team's ACC opener. The program announced on social media that sophomore center Christian Reeves also remains out with an ankle injury.

And roughly 30 minutes ahead of tipoff in MSG, Duke basketball revealed its starters for the bout:

  • Senior guard Jeremy Roach
  • Freshman guard Caleb Foster
  • Freshman guard Jared McCain
  • Sophomore forward Mark Mitchell
  • Sophomore forward Kyle Filipowski

That's the same starting five that Scheyer employed in Duke's two previous games without Proctor. Foster has served as the replacement starter.

Following the highly anticipated showdown against the Bears, the Blue Devils don't play again until they welcome Queens to Cameron Indoor Stadium on Dec. 30.
