Highland (Va.) junior small forward Nate Ament has been on the Duke basketball recruiting radar for months. So, it's no surprise the 6-foot-8, 200-pound smooth bucket-getter is officially on the Blue Devils' 2025 wishlist.

Ament, a long-limbed athletic prospect who jumped five spots this week to No. 21 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite and added a fifth star to his rating in the process, is on an unofficial visit to Durham this weekend. He attended Duke football's Saturday afternoon bout against Northwestern in Wallace Wade Stadium.

His post announcing the offer from Jon Scheyer and his staff came late in the first half while he was sitting in stands alongside family, coaches, current Blue Devils, and one five-star 2024 Duke basketball target in sharpshooting Wisconsin Lutheran small forward Kon Knueppel.

Presumably, Nate Ament received the offer while in his seat at the game, shortly before his post.

Duke now has offers on the table to nine 2025 talents.

The other eight are five-star power forward Cameron Boozer, five-star power forward Koa Peat, five-star power forward Caleb Wilson, five-star point guard Meleek Thomas, five-star combo guard Jalen Haralson, five-star center Khaman Maluach, five-star combo guard Cayden Boozer, and five-star combo guard Brayden Burries.

Burries will arrive in Durham for an unofficial Duke basketball visit on Monday.
