Sophomore forward Kyle Filipowski sustained a knee injury in the court-stormed aftermath of Duke basketball's 83-79 loss at Wake Forest on Saturday. His fellow starter of late, freshman guard Caleb Foster, suffered a foot injury during the contest, exiting early in the second half after scoring eight points with a 2-for-4 clip from deep.

Neither Filipowski, averaging a team-high 16.9 points, nor Foster, sixth at 7.7 per outing, has missed a full game this season.

As of this article's publishing, the latest update from Jon Scheyer came during his Monday evening chat with Voice of the Blue Devils and Fast Break with Jon Scheyer host David Shumate.

Here's what the second-year Duke basketball head coach said about the status of the pair as his No. 10 Blue Devils (21-6, 12-4 ACC) look to put Saturday afternoon in Winston-Salem in the rearview and begin a new winning streak via back-to-back home battles this week:

"Look, I'm not optimistic for Caleb this week. Still, we're getting some of his testing back, still where I can't give anything more than that.

"And with 'Flip,' he's just not 100 percent after what happened. He's not himself. Hopefully, he takes another step tomorrow, and he can be ready for Wednesday.

"But both of those guys are not where they were going into that game."
