Duke Basketball Recruiting: Boozer Twins Checking Out Another Suitor

In this story:
It's been a while, but Columbus High School (Fla.) juniors Cayden and Cameron Boozer have been to Duke basketball home games. After all, they are the twin sons of 2001 Blue Devil national champ and two-time NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer, and Carlos Boozer named Cameron after the program's famed Cameron Indoor Stadium.
However, neither of the five-star 2025 prospects has scheduled a visit to Duke since receiving an extremely early offer from head coach Jon Scheyer in May 2022. And they have visited elsewhere.
Currently, they're on an official visit (reportedly began on Thursday night) with hometown hopeful Miami, national recruiting insider "Trilly Donovan" posted on Wednesday night (confirmed at 247Sports). Like the Blue Devils, the Hurricanes officially entered the fray with an offer in May 2022.
The Boozer talents checked out Kentucky on an official visit in late September. They have an official visit on tap to Florida next weekend.
Cameron Boozer, a 6-foot-9 forward with abundant skills in and out of the paint, sits at No. 2 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite. That's down one spot since Prolific Prep (Calif.) five-star forward and potential Duke basketball target AJ Dybantsa recently reclassified from 2026.
Meanwhile, Cayden Boozer, a 6-foot-3 crafty guard, ranks No. 17 overall in the class.

Both (not necessarily a package deal) hold offers from blueblood programs Duke, Kentucky, UNC, and Kansas, per On3, along with several other schools.
Will the Blue Devils, who have offers out to seven others in the 2025 recruiting cycle, eventually get a visit from one or both of the Boozer twins? One would think they will. But only time will tell.
They haven't named finalists, nor have they indicated a timeline for choosing their college destinations.
