La Lumiere School (Ind.) junior Chuck Love is the latest of a few four-star 2025 preps who have recently reported interest from the Duke basketball staff. Even so, thus far in the cycle, second-year Blue Devil head coach Jon Scheyer and his gang have extended offers exclusively to five-star talents, eight altogether.

Perhaps Love, a long-limbed athlete who could develop into an ACC-caliber force, will land on the Duke basketball wishlist eventually. He told 24/7 High School Hoops that the Blue Devils are among those reaching out, along with Illinois, LSU, Michigan State, Missouri, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, Washington, West Virginia, and Xavier.

The 6-foot-8, 185-pound "3&D" prospect, who holds roughly a dozen offers and has taken unofficial visits to Illinois and Missouri, ranks No. 70 overall, No. 15 among small forwards, and No. 6 in Indiana on the 247Sports 2025 Composite.

MADE Hoops' Max Feldman summarized Love's upside in November:

"It doesn't take too long to see the appeal with Love — now standing at 6-8 with a plus wingspan and a wiry frame to go with a fluid, easy stroke from beyond the arc...He shoots it with confidence, is capable of guarding multiple spots, and has promising instincts as a connective passer in the half-court."

Duke basketball's ambitious 2025 offer sheet hasn't yielded any early commitments yet. But it's worth pointing out that none of the targets have publicly eliminated the Blue Devils either.
