Duke Basketball: Huge Recruit Schedules Official Visit to Durham

In this story:
Kokomo (Ind.) center Flory Bidunga, the top-ranked big man at No. 4 overall on the 247Sports 2024 Composite, will be in Durham for a three-day Duke basketball official visit beginning Tuesday, according to a tweet on Thursday night from MADE Hoops' Travis Graf.
Although Bidunga has not yet reported an offer from the Blue Devils, there have been several hints from national recruiting insiders in the past week pointing to Duke basketball head coach Jon Scheyer and his crew potentially becoming an instant frontrunner in the loaded race.
The 6-foot-9, 220-pound chiseled five-star, a Congo native who moved to America only a few years ago, has drawn comparisons to former Kentucky star Oscar Tshiebwe and other notably menacing post players. His offer sheet includes Kentucky, along with the likes of Kansas, Indiana, Michigan State, and others.

And Flory Bidunga has noted that his recruitment will likely wrap up before his senior year of high school begins in August.
So if the Blue Devils are to come out on top, they have some catching up to do on the rest of the field when it comes to building a relationship with the light-footed bruiser, a projected top-three pick on most way-too-early 2025 NBA mock drafts. Of course, given the official visit, one would think an offer should accompany it.
Meanwhile, despite rumors floating around for months that Bidunga might reclass to 2023 and enroll in college this year, he's recently said on several occasions that he plans to remain in the 2024 class.
Duke basketball's 2024 haul currently ranks No. 7 in the nation, per 247Sports, consisting of two early commits in North Meck (N.C.) five-star small forward Isaiah Evans and Paul VI Catholic (Va.) four-star small forward Darren Harris.
