Elite Duke Basketball Target Provides Decision Deadline

In this story:
The Duke basketball recruiters are probably not among the frontrunners to reel in St. Thomas More (Conn.) small forward Tyler Betsey.
That makes sense, though, given that the Blue Devils have already snagged commitments from a pair of 2024 small forwards in four-star Darren Harris and five-star Isaiah Evans.
Still, there was a recent report of Betsey potentially eyeing a trip to Durham for an official visit later this month. But based on his chat with 247Sports' Dushawn London this week, that's likely no longer the case, although Duke may have a chance to host him in September after his senior year of high school begins.
"I took a visit to UConn, June 9-11," Betsey, a 6-foot-8, 185-pound four-star who ranks No. 27 overall on the 247Sports 2024 Composite, informed London. "I'll be visiting Indiana, June 14-16, and Creighton, June 19-21. These are my first three officials and might be my only junior visits...
"I'm probably going to take visits every week in September and decide in October or November. I don't have a specific date right now. I just know I want to decide before my senior season. I don't want to rush anything, though."
