Sons of Duke Basketball Champ Schedule First Official Visit

In this story:
Christopher Columbus (Fla.) five-star twins Cameron Boozer and Cayden Boozer, sons of 2001 Duke basketball national champ and two-time NBA All-Star power forward Carlos Boozer, are taking official visits to Florida the first weekend in November, 247Sports' Jacob Rudner reported on Wednesday.

The news marks the first reported official visit in the high school juniors' recruitment (they're not necessarily a package deal). But it's not their first time checking out the Gators, as they had an unofficial visit to Gainesville last November.
Cameron Boozer is a 6-foot-9, 235-pound versatile power forward with a firm hold on the No. 1 ranking in the 2025 class now that fellow Duke basketball target Cooper Flagg has reclassified to 2024.
As for Cayden Boozer, the 6-foot-3, 190-pound crafty point guard has steadily risen to No. 19 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite.

Neither has eliminated any suitors. Both hold over a dozen offers, including from top bluebloods Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, and UNC.
So there's no doubt Blue Devil head coach Jon Scheyer and his gang have their work cut out for them in both Boozer sweepstakes, despite Duke's perceived advantage as their father's alma mater.
While the scheduled dual visit is certainly not a bad sign for Florida head coach Todd Golden's chances to prevail for both talents, there is still a chance the Gators won't be the earliest official hosts on the Boozers' calendar. Again, their trip to Gainesville is just the first official visit to have been reported thus far.
Furthermore, it's worth pointing out that they likely won't decide on a destination anytime soon. None of the top 50 players in the class, including all eight Duke basketball targets, have committed anywhere. And most of them probably won't until at least next summer.
