Clemson Offensive Starter Out Against Florida State

In this story:
Florida State is headed to Death Valley on Saturday to take on Clemson in an attempt to snap a seven-game losing streak against the Tigers. The Seminoles have gotten off to a solid start in their season, holding a 3-0 record as the No. 4 team in the nation, despite a close call against Boston College just last week.
There's no telling which way this game will go. The Seminoles are close favorites, but anything can happen, especially considering the close call they had just last week.
For Clemson, they'll be without a starting offensive lineman, making holding this impressive Florida State defensive line even more difficult. Right guard Walker Parks will miss his second game in a row after suffering a Week 2 injury and missing last week's game against FAU.
How to Watch Florida State and Clemson: Kickoff Time, TV Channel, and Odds
Parks played 26 games over the last two seasons, and would have brought good experience to the offensive line in this big game, and the Tigers will feel his missed impact. Mitchell Mayes started in the right guard position for the Tigers last week, and likely will again this week.
This opens the door for the Seminoles front four to be that much disruptive. They've got the ability to absolutely control a game between pressures and stopping the run game.
The Seminoles struggled defending Will Shipley last year, and will need to make it a focus to make sure he doesn't have a big game this weekend. In order to come away with the road victory, the defense will have to be clicking on all levels and getting off the field when they give themselves the chance.
Watching the Seminoles' rotation of defensive tackles and how it impacts this game will be intriguing to watch, too, with the injury news coming out. The Seminoles now have one more advantage in this marquee matchup.
