Former Florida State Linebacker Transferring To Deion Sanders And Colorado

In this story:
Florida State has utilized the NCAA Transfer Portal to boost its roster with an influx of talent over the last couple of years. However, what goes around comes around as the Seminoles have seen a plethora of players elect to transfer and explore opportunities elsewhere.
On Monday afternoon, former FSU linebacker DJ Lundy announced on social media that he transferring to Colorado for his final season of eligibility. Lundy is coming off a season where he recorded 53 tackles, six tackles for loss, two sacks, four pass deflections, and one interception.
It was expected that Lundy would be an important member of the team in 2024 as the most experienced linebacker on the roster. Instead, he joins multiple ex-members of the program such as Omarion Cooper and Bishop Thomas to follow Deion Sanders to Boulder. The Buffaloes went 4-8 this past season and lost eight of their final nine games while failing to qualify for the postseason.

Star defensive end Patrick Payton previously declared his intentions to do so but removed the references on social media and never officially appeared in the database.
