Florida State fans went on a whirlwind in regard to the recruitment of wide receiver Destyn Hill who was the bell cow of head coach Mike Norvell's 2021 recruiting class and he became almost a myth given the up-and-down process to get him on campus. Rightfully so, Hill has an opportunity to make an immediate impact this season as the 'Noles attempt to make a run for a conference title and make it to the College Football Playoffs for the first time since 2014.

Someone who is equally excited as the fans for the upcoming season is Super Bowl XLIX champion and former FSU star center Bryan Stork, who recently broke down the 2023 transfer haul with NoleGameday and heaped praise on the young receiver out of Edna Karr.

"He's just different compared to the rest of the dudes on the field," Stork claimed.

Hill, was a standout wide receiver from New Orleans, Louisiana. A former 4-star prospect he was the 20th-ranked wide receiver in the country in 2021 and the 7th-ranked prospect out of Louisiana. He helped lead Edna Karr to the 4A State Championship and caught 33 passes for 806 yards with 15 scores during his junior season which was cut short due to COVID-19.

"Those are the guys that you want, that are unselfish, come in there and just do their jobs—just lock on to somebody, try to make it work. Not overly physical, but he makes it work." Stork said, "I love a wide receiver that can block; it makes my heart happy, especially my offensive line heart."

Stork, who won the 2013 National Championship at Florida State values receivers who put themselves on the line to block for the offense, along with Norvell who prioritizes the physicality in that position group.

"Just talking about guys that are unselfish and can block. I think that just says everything, because there are a lot of guys out there in the country that can catch, but is there guys that can do both? I think that just says everything. That's what I appreciate about him."

Stork goes through a full rundown of Hill's film and the rest of the incoming class in NoleGameday's Calculated Chaos.
