The star of the production has been none other than the dynamic Keon Coleman. After scoring a touchdown early in the second quarter with the use of a nasty stiff arm, the Michigan State transfer has continued to make a sizable impact on the matchup.
With time winding down in the opening half, Coleman made another big play to continue Florida State's dominating effort. Matched up in 1-on-1 coverage, quarterback Jordan Travis noticed the mistake and gave his receiver a chance. Coleman easily pulled the pass in with one hand for his second touchdown of the quarter.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pound wide receiver continues to display why he's one of the top playmakers in the country. He's caught five passes for 60 yards and two touchdowns with an entire half remaining to rack up more stats.
On the season, that gives Coleman 36 catches for 532 yards and nine touchdowns. That means he's averaging a score on every four catches in garnet and gold.
Is it coincidence or fate that former NFL quarterback turned commentator Robert Griffin III has been in attendance to call this catch and the eye-popping grab that Coleman made against Syracuse?
