Former Florida State Seminole Malik Beasley signed a one-year deal with the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday.

The guard will compete in his eighth NBA season, playing for his fifth different franchise. Most recently, Beasley competed alongside the Los Angeles Lakers, helping them make their deep playoff push.

Beasley is a career 38 percent three-point shooter, with his best season tallying in right at 40 percent from beyond the arc, which is more than enough to catch the interest of most teams throughout his career.

The 6-foot-4 guard will be able to play perfectly off his new teammate, Giannis Antetokounmpo. He will space the floor for Antetokounmpo to complement his style, which includes dominating in the driving game.

Not to mention, the Bucks needed to get younger. The Bucks have an older core of players, and their two stars behind Antetokounmpo are 31 and 33. Beasley adds another rotational piece that can maintain the fast break with Antetokounmpo, arguably the most valuable piece to his game. The 26-year-old will play off that just fine.

If nothing else, the on-court fit is great for Beasley and the Bucks, and given the right amount of playing time, the pairing favors him at this point of his career. With a one-year deal, he's betting on himself and setting himself up for a potential payday come this time next year.

The Bucks guard spent one season with the Seminoles during the 2015-16 college basketball season. He averaged 15.6 points per game in his 34 appearances and 33 starts. He shot 39 percent from beyond the arc on 4.2 attempts per game.

Though the Seminoles basketball program had a 20-18 record that season, going 8-10 in conference play, Beasley played his way to being the No. 19 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

The former Seminole will be in a good position to make a deep playoff push in the Eastern Conference.
