Devin Bush Sr. is assisting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers while working with their linebackers as a Bill Walsh Intern, according to Greg Auman.

Bush played college football at Florida State under Bobby Bowden. He was a part of the 1993 National Championship team in Tallahassee. During Bush's tenure at Florida State, he was a part of three straight ACC Championships in his three seasons played. He played three incredibly successful seasons of college football.

After his college career, the national champion made the move to the NFL as a first-round pick. Bush played eight seasons at the pro level having appeared on three different teams.

Coaching was Bush's next move after his playing days. He began coaching at the high school level in Florida. It made sense for the Florida native to return to the state in which he saw success in his early football playing days.

In 116 NFL appearances, Bush intercepted seven passes and totaled 428 tackles. In his rookies season, he earned All-Rookie team honors.

Starting in 2016, Bush jumped to the college football coaching scene defensive analyst with Michigan. His next gig was with Ole Miss as director of football recruiting. Earlier this year, Bush joined the Orlando Guardians of the XFL as a defensive analyst, the same role he had at Michigan.

While Bush's coaching career is still just getting started, he's quickly built some incredible experience and this opportunity could easily lead to another role in the NFL. He will get to coach star linebackers Devin White and Lavonte David.

The former Seminole is the father of Devin Bush Jr., a 25-year-old linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks who played at Michigan in college, the same place as one of his coaching stops.

Having won a National Championship with Florida State and a state championship when in high school in Florida, Bush provides both a deep history of playing and coaching football as well as doing so while winning big games.
