There are 12 different Seminoles representing Florida State at the NFL Draft Combine. The program was littered with stars last season, and those who chose to head to play pro football are now getting a chance to shine.

One player who has benefited from the combine is defensive tackle Braden Fiske. The 6-foot-3, 292-pound standout shined during his 40-yard dash. He ran  an unofficial 4.78-second 40-yard dash, which brought plenty of attention to him, given his size. Fiske's time was the fastest among defensive tackles who decided to run.

While Fiske outran the other defensive tackles, that's not the only player he outshined in the event. His time was 0.02 seconds faster than Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes, which the NFL official X (formerly Twitter) account shared a video of.

The joke started with Mahomes' initial post asking the NFL Network not to use his overlay.

"As the combine starts this week! All i ask is that [the NFL Network] doesn’t use my 40 overlay anymore," Mahomes jokingly posted.

While the post is a joke, it doesn't take away from the fact that Fiske crushed the drill, and it wasn't the only one he thrived in. He also led defensive tackles in both the vertical jump and broad jump.

Fiske jumped 33.50 inches in the vertical jump and 9'9" in the broad jump.

The defensive tackle spent five years at Western Michigan before transferring to Florida State for his final season of college football. He posted 43 total tackles, nine tackles for loss, and six sacks in his season at Tallahassee.

Fiske's performance at the combine has him rapidly climbing draft boards, as he's getting some respect as a potential late-first-rounder.

"Fiske, I think this dude, he's a lock for the second round in my opinion. He might end up finding his way into the bottom of the first round," NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah said.
