Early Signing Period is less than a week away, and high school prospects are finalizing with their respective schools ahead of December 20. Florida State held multiple official visitors this past weekend while wrapping up commitments heading into the 2024 class.

One of those players was Central Catholic offensive tackle Manasse Itete out of Modesto, California, who committed to the Seminoles in July of 2023.

"Oh, it was a great experience again," Itete said of his recent visit. "We were able to go get deeper and talk about a lot of stuff, like how things go. And to me, they were very in touch with me, my family and that's a great thing for me. And can't wait to come down and keep working."

Florida State offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Alex Atkins and the rest of the staff's message has been about improvement regardless of where your current abilities are. Itete relayed that the message still remains the same.

"It's all about getting better every day, just like we have a bigger picture we have to see. But at the end of the day, we have to just keep getting better."

Itete has visited Florida State multiple times, and the family atmosphere appeals to him. People like head coach Mike Norvell, Atkins, and General Manager of Personnel Darrick Yray made Itete feel like family, a sentiment shared by multiple recruits and players on the roster.

"I mean, it was very different. Florida State, especially coach Atkins, they're great - Darrick Yray. Darrick is like my family, you know? We have that connection. So it was like I just visited my family, you know? Like much different from anywhere I've been to."

Florida State currently has the No. 3 recruiting class, according to 247Sports. Itete is currently listed as the No. 11 offensive tackle nationally and the No. 12 player in California.

Itete's full interview can be seen below.
