WATCH: Four-Star WR Elijah Moore Set To Announce Decision Between FSU and Ohio State

In this story:
Florida State already has four blue-chip wide receivers committed in its 2024 class; Camdon Frier, BJ Gibson, Lawayne McCoy, and TJ Abrams. That doesn't mean the Seminoles are done at the position though as the coaching staff is searching for another big fish to join the fold.

Over the last couple of weeks, FSU has been closing in on four-star wide receiver Elijah Moore. The 6-foot-4 playmaker named the Seminoles the leader in his recruitment after capping off his slate of official visits in Tallahassee.
"I had a great time on my official visit," Moore said to NoleGameday previously. "Coach Norvell, really felt like family. I loved the FSU football, I had a great time."
This recruitment is coming down to Florida State and Ohio State, the two programs that he officially visited in June. The Buckeyes were previously trending for Moore but the relationships that he has with head coach Mike Norvell and wide receivers coach Ron Dugans may be too great to pass up.
"It's just Ohio State/Florida State. I'm not a real picky guy, I'm cutthroat," Moore said. "Ohio State - Brian Hartline. Coach Ron Dugans. Let's make it happen."
Florida State's 2024 class holds 13 verbal commitments and is ranked No. 16 in the country.
The 6-foot-4, 190-pound wide receiver is regarded as the No. 432 overall prospect, the No. 64 WR, and the No. 11 recruit in the state of Maryland in the 2024 class according to 247Sports. As a junior, he caught 23 passes for 372 yards with five receiving touchdowns.
