Final Score Predictions for Georgia vs Vanderbilt

Coming off of its most dominant performance of the season with a decisive 51-13 victory over Kentucky, Georgia heads to Nashville looking to keep the momentum going into the bye week against a struggling Vanderbilt team. The Bulldogs enter the matchup with the longest streak with the No.1 ranking in the AP poll in SEC history, while the Commodores are limping into the matchup with a 2-5 record and still in search of their first conference win of the season. Georgia is currently a 31.5-point favorite in the last matchup between the two teams as SEC Eastern Division foes.

The game will kick off at Noon ET and will be broadcast on CBS.

Georgia has won 5 straight against Vanderbilt and has won the last two contests by a combined score of 117-0. The Commodores have not posted a touchdown against the Bulldogs since 2018 and have not scored a single point against Georgia since 2019. The Dawgs Daily staff is here with our final score predictions for the matchup between the Bulldogs and the Commodores.

Brooks Austin - Georgia 48 - Vanderbilt 9

Vanderbilt hasn't scored a touchdown against the Georgia Bulldogs since Carson Beck was a junior in high school, and that streak won't end Saturday morning in Nashville. I expect Georgia to remain a hot and confident football team against a Vanderbilt squad that's allowed an average of 500 yards of offense against their last two conference opponents. It's vital Georgia handle their business quickly and get valuable playing time for the backups, but more importantly to remain healthy entering the bye week prior to Florida.

Tyler Graves: Georgia 51 - Vanderbilt 10

Georgia found something offensively late in the second half against Auburn and carried that into last week's top-20 showdown with Kentucky. QB Carson Beck is playing at as high of a level as any quarterback in the league and the identity of the Georgia offense is increasingly being built around the first-year starter. Given that Vanderbilt brings one of the 20 worst pass defenses in the country into the matchup, I expect Offensive Coordinator Mike Bobo to let Beck deal early and often against the Commodores and distribute the ball to all-everything tight end Brock Bowers and the rest of Georgia's talented pass-catchers. Georgia will ride the pass game to an early lead and then pound an overmatched Vanderbilt defensive front six into submission as the game progresses.

Defensively, Georgia must be aware of wide receivers Will Sheppard and Jayden McGowan on every snap. They are legitimate SEC playmakers that can cause any team issues, but the Vanderbilt offensive line is one of the weakest units in the league and has consistently made it difficult for the Commodore offense at large to find any sort of consistent success. Newly inserted starting QB Ken Seals, who did not play a single snap a year ago after starting 16 games over his first two seasons in Nashville, has brought more stability to the Vanderbilt offense - the Commodores have turned the ball over more than any team in the league - but he does not possess the physical upside that the now benched A.J. Swann does. Ultimately, the Bulldogs will control the lines of scrimmage and ride the arm of the increasingly impressive Carson Beck to another decisive victory over Vanderbilt.

Jonathan Williams: Georgia 45, Vanderbilt 7

A major focus for this week's matchup against the Vanderbilt Commodores is whether or not the Bulldogs can have a repeat performance of what they did a week ago against Kentucky. Offensively, Brock Bowers and Carson Beck are playing some of the best football in the country, and the defense looked to have found a four-quarter dominant performance against the Wildcats. Georgia is going to be looking to build off of that success before they head into the bye week, and Vanderbilt is a great opponent to achieve that. I think Georgia's offense gets rolling early like they typically have in years past against Vandy, and the defense plays virtually flawless outside of a late score from Commodores. Dawgs roll big in this one.

Ethan Offutt: Georgia 49, Vanderbilt 10

An award-winning performance by Carson Beck last week saw the Georgia Bulldogs cage up the Wildcats quickly where they were able to put in their backups in an unexpected situation. This weekend should be the same against a considerably worse Vanderbilt football team. Though they are worse, a wide reciever I would progect to be a fourth round draft pick in Will Sheppard will help end the touchdown drought from the Commodores against Georgia. This one should be out of hand by halftime, and the starters will be able to rest up leading into Georgia's bye week before the World's Largest Outdoor Coktail Party.
