Georgia Football Athletes Filling Up the Senior Bowl Roster

Many college football athletes will see their last bit of collegiate football action in the Senior Bowl on February 2nd, with Georgia Bulldogs all over the roster.

One of the biggest and most crucial parts of the college football season is when the Senior Bowl takes place, and there are names found from all levels of collegiate football that dominate against Power 5 players.

Last year, Tank Dell was feasting on competition, showing off his exceptional route-running ability, which increased his draft stock tremendously and made him a vital piece of the Houston Texans' offense this season. This year, a load of Georgia athletes is filling up the roster, looking to dominate the last bit of competition they will face in their college careers.

These players will be divided into American and National teams, where current NFL coaches coach both teams. The Bulldogs' offensive line leader, center Sedrick Van Pran, started the declarations by Georgia players. He was then joined by his fellow snapping mate, William Mote. Mote will get to long snap in front of both the New York Giants and New Orleans Saints assistant special teams coaches.

On December 31st, two more Dawgs claimed their spot on the Reese's Senior Bowl roster when Tykee Smith and Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint announced they would participate in this event. They were both followed by Ladd McConkey, who announced his participation on New Year's Day.

The final declaration comes from a junior on Georgia's roster who has already declared for the draft. Javon Bullard will join Tykee Smith on the defensive side of the ball. The two will play in front of the Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings defensive backs coaches, two teams that could use these two player's abilities on their roster.

Some other notable names include Joe Milton (QB, Tennessee), Spencer Rattler (QB, South Carolina), Bo Nix (QB, Oregon), Sam Hartman (QB, Notre Dame), Michael Penix Jr. (QB, Washington), Braden Fiske (DL, Florida State), Patrick Paul (OL, Houston), and Xavier Legette (WR, South Carolina).

The Reese's Senior Bowl is held annually in Mobile, AL., where players from across the nation have one final opportunity to show what they are made of, except this time in front of an abundance of NFL coaches and scouts. This year's Senior Bowl will be played on February 3rd at the University of South Alabama's home stadium. It will air on NFL Network at Noon EST.
