Stay updated with Saturday's SEC matchup between the Georgia Bulldogs and the Kentucky Wildcats.

The Georgia Bulldogs are set to return to action this Saturday as they host the Kentucky Wildcats for their week six matchup of the 2025 college football season. As the kickoff for this SEC matchup is just hours away, here are some details about the upcoming game.

This will be the 79th meeting between these two schools in a series that Georgia has dominated 64-12-2. The Bulldogs have also rattled off 15 straight wins over the Wildcats, and have held Kentucky to less than 20 points in the previous eight contests.

Both teams are heading into this matchup following a loss and are each looking to return to the win column this Saturday. The Dawgs appear to have a massive advantage in doing so, as they are currently more than 20-point favorites to emerge victorious.

  • (8:51): Kentucky signals for a fair catch and will have the ball on the 25-yard line. Kentucky is stopped on third down and the Wildcats will elect to punt. Branch calls for a fair catch and Georgia will take over on their own four-yard line.
  • (6:10): Georgia manages to pick up a few first downs to get the ball near midfield. A big run from Stockton on third down and another first down from Humphreys followed by an unnecessary roughness penalty on Kentucky gets Georgia in business. Stockton keeps it and strolls on in to the end zone for a TOUCHDOWN.
  • (0:55): Kentucky calls for a fair catch on the kick off and will take over at the 25-yard line. Kentucky gets a nice gain off of a screen to get them down to Georgia's 31-yard line. (END OF QUARTER)

Second Quarter:

  • (15:00): Bowley finds his tight end for a TOUCHDOWN.
  • (14:21): Branch calls for a fair catch and Georgia will take over at the 25-yard line. Stockton is intercepted and the Kentucky defender is tackled out at their own 33-yard line.
  • (12:32): Georgia forces a three and out partially due to a sack from CJ Allen on first down. Georgia will get the ball at their own 18-yard line after the punt.
  • (11:09): Georgia's drive stalls out after Bowens trips up in the backfield on first down and an offensive pass interference on third down. Kentucky will get the ball on their own one-yard line after the punt from Thorson.

  • (4:23): Georgia squibs it after the penalty from the previous play and Kentucky is tackled at the 18-yard line. Georgia gets another third down stop after giving up a first down after a defensive hold. Kentucky punts it away and the Bulldogs will take over at the 29-yard line after the punt.

  • (12:31): After a string of penalties on Georgia, the Dawgs finally get a stop on fourth down. The Wildcats elect to go for it at midfield and Bowley completes it to Miller for a first down. On fourth down, Robinson comes down with the interception in the end zone for a touchback.
  • (4:02): Puglisi throws an interception and Kentucky will take over on Georgia's side of the field.
  • (2:22): Kentucky finds the end zone off of a pass from Bowley.
