LOOK: Carson Beck Ranks No. 1 in Returning QB's According to CBS Sports
Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck has been selected as the nation's best returning quarterback according to CBS Sports.
The importance of the quarterback position in the sport of football is something that has been discussed for decades. A player's ability to lead an offense and complete passes is oftentimes what separates a team from being just good, or national title contenders.
Luckily for the Georgia Bulldogs, they have arguably one of the best quarterbacks in the country in Carson Beck. In fact, according to an article by Tom Fornelli from CBS Sports, Beck is the best-returning quarterback in the entire nation. The Bulldogs' quarterback ranked first in returning quarterbacks in a list that featured highly talented passers such as Quinn Ewers, Shedeur Sanders, and Jaxson Dart.

In his first season as a starter in 2023, Beck completed a staggering 72% of his passes for just shy of 4,000 yards and helped lead Georgia to their third straight 12-0 start during the regular season. His Heisman and national title aspirations would, unfortunately, be cut short at the hands of Alabama in the SEC Championship. But it would not stop Beck from breaking the Bulldogs' completion percentage record during an entire season.
Beck and the Bulldogs enter the 2024 season as major favorites to once again win the national title and earn their third championship in just four seasons.
