Hearst, who played running back for the Dawgs from 1990-92 was a major factor in Georgia's offensive success during the early 90's. He finished his career at Georgia with 3,232 rushing yards and was the winner of the Doak Walker Award during the 1992 season. He then had a 12-year career with multiple teams in the NFL.
Seymour on the other hand, was a member of the Bulldogs defensive line from 1997-2000. During that time, he earned two first-team All-SEC honors and an All-American honor during the 2000 season. He was selected sixth overall in the first round of the 2001 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. Seymour was also inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a member of the 2022 class.
Should they be inducted, the duo will join 21 other Bulldog greats as members of the Hall of Fame. The most recent Bulldog inductee was Champ Bailey, who was a member of the Hall's 2022 class.
