Kickoff Times, Broadcast Networks Announced for Two More of Georgia's Games

A day after CBS announced that it would be broadcasting two of Georgia's games against South Carolina and Florida, the SEC and ESPN announced kickoff times for two games on Georgia's 2023 schedule that it will be broadcasting kickoff times for Georgia's 2023 schedule.

The Bulldogs’ season-opening game against UT-Martin will kick off at 6 pm on Sept. 2 and will be broadcast on ESPN+/SECN+. The game against the Skyhawks will be Georgia’s first season opener to be played in Sanford Stadium since the Bulldogs hosted Austin Peay to open the 2018 season.

The following week on Sept. 9, the two-time defending national champions will welcome the Ball State Cardinals to Sanford Stadium for a noon kickoff that will air on the SEC Network. Georgia was originally scheduled to play at Oklahoma in this slot on its 2023 schedule before the SEC mandated the two future conference mates cancel the series, leading the Bulldogs to replace their scheduled trip to Norman with a home game against Ball State.

It was previously announced that CBS will broadcast both Georgia’s conference opener against South Carolina on Sept. 16 and the Bulldogs’ annual clash with Florida in Jacksonville, Florida on Oct. 28 at 3:30 pm as the network’s SEC on CBS game of the week.
